The Lost Bastion
Survivors of the Island
The Lost Bastion is not so much a faction as it is a survival pact — a loose coalition of the exiled, the Branded, and the desperate who have been cast onto the Island of Titans and refuse to die quietly.
Purpose Link to heading
The Lost Bastion exists for one reason: survival. Its members share resources, intelligence, and protection against the Island’s many dangers — the Titans, the corrupted wildlife, and the hostile forces that lurk in the ruins.
Organization Link to heading
There is no formal hierarchy. Leadership is earned through competence, not titles. The closest thing the Lost Bastion has to a leader is Blackthorne, the Iron Widow of Blackroot, though her authority extends primarily over the settlement itself.
Membership Link to heading
Anyone who reaches the Island and proves they can contribute is welcome — or at least tolerated. The Lost Bastion includes humans, dwarves, elves, goblins, and stranger folk still. The one requirement is simple: pull your weight, or get out of the way.
Relations Link to heading
The Lost Bastion has a complicated relationship with the mainland factions. The Church of the Silver Lady considers anyone on the Island to be beyond saving. The Glimmerhold Traders see opportunity where others see exile. And the people of the Island themselves trust no one who hasn’t bled beside them.
