Glimmerhold Traders

The Glimmerhold dwarves are the economic backbone of Valruhn, running banking houses and trade networks that span all three nations. Where the Church of the Silver Lady wields power through faith and military might, the Glimmerhold Traders wield it through gold, contracts, and leverage.

From their grand trading cities at the base of the mountain ranges, Glimmerhold merchants maintain routes across every corner of Valruhn. Their caravans carry everything from precious gems and enchanted artifacts to mundane goods and information.

The Glimmerhold Seekers are a specialized branch — treasure hunters and relic-seekers who travel to dangerous locations in search of valuable artifacts. They are well-funded, well-equipped, and not always well-behaved.

Glimmerhold society revolves around trade guilds and is governed by a council of merchant-princes who steer the clan’s collective fortunes. Every Glimmerhold dwarf is expected to contribute to the prosperity of the whole, whether through craftsmanship, trade, or the acquisition of rare goods.

The Glimmerhold are gregarious and cunning, adept at turning any deal to their favor. They are respected for their craftsmanship and feared for their ability to call in debts at the most inconvenient moments. In Blackroot, the Glimmerhold representative Veylin Goldgrin manages what little wealth the settlement has — and his grin is always a little too wide.
